Good frame and fine fork
The aluminium frame on the X-Caliber 9 has a clever geometry for excellent handling. It makes the bike agile and direct, and very stable at higher speed during descents. The frame is also nicely finished and has mounting points for a luggage carrier and a kickstand to make it more suitable for daily use. This makes the X-Caliber very versatile. Add the smoothly responding RockShox Judy air suspension fork that gives you great steering precision and constant control while going over bumps, and you have a bike with a very solid base. For maximum performance you can lock or unlock the fork from the handlebar.
High-end equipment
Trek have chosen high-quality Shimano components for the X-Caliber 9. The XT/SLX 1x12 mix ensures quick and precise shifting even under load and in muddy conditions. The 10-51 cassette gives you a particularly wide range for tackling the steepest climbs. And when going downhill you can always rely on the fine and powerful hydraulic brakes, also from Shimano. With these brakes you will always come to a safe and controlled stop.
