The Trek Marlin 6 Gen 3 combines control and versatility in a hardtail mountain bike ready for challenging trails. The aluminium frame with internal cable routing and quite flat geometry provides stability on descents. The RockShox Judy suspension fork with lockout allows for efficient and comfortable riding on rough trails as well as flat sections.

Frame and geometry
The Alpha Silver Aluminium frame has a modern geometry that inspires confidence when cornering and descending. Thanks to internal cable routing, it looks sleek and protects the cables better from dirt and wear. The attachment points for a luggage rack and a bike stand also make the frame practical for use off the trails. The ThruSkew rear axle construction contributes to stability and durability, making the bike feel solid and reliable.

Shifting and braking
The Shimano CUES U6000 drivetrain with 10 gears and an 11-48 cassette gives you a wide gear range to make steep climbs as well as fast sections easy to ride. Shifting performance is smooth and reliable thanks to Linkglide technology, which offers extra durability. As for braking power, the Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes respond well in wet conditions and on longer descents. The combination of these components makes the bike suitable for whatever the trails may throw at you.

Finish and details
The Trek Marlin 6 Gen 3 MTB features tubeless-ready Bontrager Kovee rims that form a solid base for Maxxis tyres. In smaller sizes, these are the IKON 27.5 x 2.35 with good grip on compact trails, and in larger sizes these are the Rekon Race 29 x 2.35 tyres with good speed and traction. The dropper seatpost with varying adjustment ranges per frame size gives you extra freedom of movement on technical sections. With Bontrager components such as the handlebars, stem and Verse Short saddle, the finish is complete and focused on comfort and control.
