The Trek Checkpoint ALR 3 Gen 3 brings comfort and versatility together in an aluminium gravel bike designed for long rides on a variety of surfaces. Frame and geometry
The 300 Series Alpha Aluminium bike frame provides sturdiness as well as a comfortable endurance geometry aimed at stability on long rides. Internal cable routing protects parts from dirt and gives the bike a sleek look. With several mounts for attaching bags, racks and mudguards, the frame offers ample options to carry gear. The full carbon fork absorbs vibrations and contributes to reliable steering precision.

Shifting and braking
The combination of a Shimano CUES 10-speed drivetrain with an 11-48 cassette offers a wide range suitable for steep climbs as well as fast sections. The durability of Linkglide technology ensures smooth gear shifting even after prolonged use. Tektro mechanical disc brakes deliver consistent braking power and respond well in wet and dry conditions. Dual pistons improve braking response, increasing control on descents.

Other parts and components
The Checkpoint ALR 3 Gen 3 gravel bike is fitted with Bontrager Paradigm 23 tubeless-ready wheels and Bontrager Girona Pro tyres for high comfort and grip. The tyres are 42 mm wide and suitable for a variety of surfaces from paved roads to rough gravel tracks. With a 50 mm maximum tyre clearance - without mudguards - the bike offers plenty of freedom to fit even wider tyres. The Bontrager saddle, handlebars and stem complete the setup with a dual focus on comfort and reliability.
