Very comfortable carbon frame
The versatile frame of the Cannondale Topstone Carbon 5 is made of stiff and light carbon with a unique feature: the advanced and super-light Kingpin suspension system with up to 30mm of travel - and without the added weight of a damper. This makes the frame especially comfortable, allowing you to ride faster and with more traction and control on paved and unpaved roads. And for the real adventurers the frame is even dropper-post compatible.
To make the Topstone even more versatile, mudguards can be easily mounted. A mudguard bridge for the rear stays comes with the bike.

Gravel-specific Shimano GRX drivetrain
The Cannondale Topstone Carbon 5 is equipped with a Shimano GRX groupset combined with the attractive Cannondale crankset. The Shimano GRX 800 front and rear derailleurs ensure fast and precise gear shifting. The 46x30 crank combined with the 11-34 cassette gives you a wide range of gears to choose from during descents and climbs, and on the flat as well, of course.
The GRX 600 shifters provide extra grip for off-road use, as their ergonomics have been adjusted for that. In wet conditions too, your hand will remain firmly on the shifter. The Shimano BR-RX400 hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors ensure that you can keep braking well even in bad weather conditions.
The Topstone Carbon 5 has what it takes to make you go as fast as possible off-road. There is no lack of traction with the 37mm wide very fine WTB Riddler tyres. These tyres offer a near-perfect combination of low rolling resistance, great traction and good puncture resistance.

Cannondale Wheel sensor
For easy viewing of your rides there is an integrated wheel sensor in the front hub of the Topstone Carbon. It has been made by Garmin and provides accurate data on speed, route and distance. It registers your bike, indicates service intervals and more through the free Cannondale app. All you have to do is pair it via Bluetooth with your smartphone or cycling computer.

The Topstone is very suitable for fitting mudguards or fenders. The fender bridge on the rear stays can be easily removed if you don't want to mount a fender.
Speed Release thru-axles
These offer the stiffness of a regular thru-axle, with the convenience of a quick release axle.
Internal cable routing
With the DirectLine cable routing, an internal tube guides the cable and housing through the frame.
