At the core of this road bike is the carbon frame. This carbon frame is light and stiff, giving you extra control over the bike. The design of the frame focuses on comfort. The SAT system gives 11% more vertical flex than the regular Pulsium in the seat tube, offering particular comfort. The cables are integrated into the frame, so they are superbly protected from adverse conditions.

Excellent shifting
This bike is equipped with the high-quality Shimano Ultegra groupset. This group shifts smoothly and precisely. Moreover, this group is very durable, so you will rarely need to replace the parts. This bike has a 2x11 drivetrain and an 11-34 cassette. This provides a huge gear range, which also makes the Pulsium excellent for tours in mountainous surroundings. On descents, you can rely on Shimano's hydraulic disc brakes. These deliver excellent braking performance, even in poor conditions. In addition, these brakes have excellent control so you can safely steer into every corner.

Wheel set
Lapierre has chosen wheels from DT Swiss. These wheels are light and stiff, making starting and accelerating with great ease. These wheels are also tubeless, which reduces the chances of punctures. The tyres are from Continental. These bring a good balance between grip and durability. However, unlike the wheels, these tyres are not tubeless ready.
