The Giant XTC Advanced 29er 1 is a lightweight hardtail mountain bike that has a fast and lively character. This mountain bike offers even more cycling fun and makes you go even faster. The carbon frame and its many carbon components ensures a low overall weight and good stiffness for fast acceleration and direct steering.
The new 2020 frame is made of lightweight carbon and because of the high quality carbon fibre used it feels enormously stiff. Helping you achieve fast acceleration and good climbing performance.
The geometry has changed slightly in line with the latest developments and is loved by avid riders for its good manoeuvrability and sharp handling combined with even more stability at high speed.
The Fox Float SC Performance front fork is one of the best front forks you can get in this price range. It subtly dampens all obstacles, for total control.
The carbon wheels are also a big plus of this XTC Advanced. They reduce the overall weight and have increased stiffness. With the boost hubs they feel extra stiff and are extra strong. The rims come with a 25 mm internal width so nice and wide, so that the tyre has a good fit on the rim offering a lot of steering control.
The shifting of this hardtail mountain bike comes from the Shimano XT group set. It comes with 1x12 gears and a huge range thanks to the 10-51 cassette. Without a front derailleur, this group kit is lighter and you always change gears quickly and intuitively.
