Cube Reaction C:62 One

The Cube Reaction C:62 One is a really fast carbon hardtail MTB that offers a perfect balance between speed, agility and comfort. It is an excellent choice for ambitious mountain bikers keen to swap their aluminium bike for a noticeably lighter, stiffer and faster model, or for beginners who are excited to get off to a flying start.

For this mountain bike model, Cube uses its clever Size Split system. If you choose the smallest size, XS, the bike is fitted with agile 27.5 inch wheels. Sizes S and upwards are fitted with fast 29 inch wheels. This way, you get the wheel size that suits your height and centre of gravity best.

C:62 carbon frame
Cube uses its tried-and-tested Advanced Twin Mold technology to construct the C:62 carbon frame in such a way that it is extremely strong where it needs to be, and comfortable and light where possible. The cables run neatly internally from the headset; this not only gives the bike a fantastically clean look, but alo keeps dirt and water away from your vulnerable gear and brake cables.

Ready for the future
This bike frame is fully up to modern standards. Thanks to the UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) pad, replacing the rear derailleur hanger is child’s play. What’s more, the seat tube is prepared for internal cable routing for a dropper post, should you wish to upgrade to one in the future for tackling those really steep descents.

• You can easily fit two bottle cages to the frame to carry plenty of water.
• The frame is compatible with an internal dropper post (31.6 or 27.2 mm depending on the exact shim; the standard seatpost is 27.2 mm).
• The wheels and tyres are ready to be converted to tubeless with tubeless valves and sealant.

As this is a carbon bike, we recommend always using a Torque wrench when tightening the seatpost and handlebar clamp so as not to damage the carbon.

• After a muddy ride in the woods, rinse your bike with a gentle stream of water and a high-quality bike shampoo. Then lubricate your chain with a high-quality wax or lube – this will make your drivetrain last much longer.
• Buy a shock pump so you can regularly check the air pressure in your RockShox Recon fork and customise it to suit your weight and riding style.

Are pedals included with the Cube Reaction C:62 One MTB?
No, the Cube Reaction C:62 One comes without pedals. This is quite common with sporty carbon mountain bikes because every rider has a personal preference for clipless pedals (such as Shimano SPD) or standard flat pedals. You can order the pedals of your choice along with your new bike.

What wheel size does the Cube Reaction C:62 One have for my frame size?
Cube uses a Size Split for the Reaction C:62 One model. If you choose the smallest frame size (XS), the bike will be fitted with 27.5 inch wheels. If you choose a size S, M, L, XL or XXL, you will get the larger 29 inch wheels as standard.
