Stärken & Schwächen
Stärken & Schwächen
- With the modern Shimano Cues 11-speed drivetrain, gear changes are smooth and your chain and cassette will last longer than with older systems.
- The Shimano hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable braking power, ensuring you can come to a safe and quick stop in all conditions, including rain and mud.
- With Cube’s clever Size Split system, the smaller sizes have agile 27.5 inch wheels and the larger sizes have fast 29 inch wheels.
- The frame is well equipped for everyday use with neatly concealed mounting points for a kickstand, mudguards and a luggage rack.
- The SR Suntour XCT fork is a coil suspension fork, which is slightly heavier and less precise to adjust to your body weight than an air suspension fork.
- Weighing 15.5 kg, this isn’t exactly a lightweight mountain bike, which you will really notice on steep climbs.

The Cube Aim Pro hardtail mountain bike is an ideal choice for those new to trail riding or sporty schoolchildren. Are you looking for a sturdy bike to explore the local off-road trails at the weekend, or for a robust bike for your daily commute to school or work? The Aim Pro MTB is a wonderful choice for you. The reliable aluminium frame is impact-resistant, and the sitting position is fairly upright for great comfort in the saddle.
Cube understands that riders vary in height and, therefore, uses a Size Split. If you are not very tall and choose size XS or S, your bike will have 27.5 inch wheels. With size M and above, you will get the larger 29 inch wheels. Are you planning to tackle some really challenging mountain bike trails and looking for a bike with a fork that you can lock out on tarmac? Then take a look at the Aim Pro's slightly more upmarket sibling, the Cube Aim Race.

Aluminium Lite frame with SIC mount
The frame is made from sturdy Aluminium Lite material. The brake and gear cables run neatly through the frame via the headset, which protects them from dirt and water, reducing maintenance needs. A really handy feature of the frame is the SIC (Semi Integrated Carrier) system. It allows you to fit original ACID mudguards and luggage racks to your bike seamlessly, easily and with a super-sleek finish!
Shimano Cues drivetrain
The Aim Pro MTB is fitted with the innovative Shimano Cues 1x11-speed groupset. At the front, you have a single chainring, so you will never have to worry about a front derailleur again. At the rear, you have a large cassette with 11 to 50 teeth, so you will always find a light gear for a climb. The Cues system involves Linkglide technology, which means the sprockets are super robust and will last up to three times longer.

• After a ride in wet conditions, give the legs of the SR Suntour fork a quick wipe with a dry cloth to prevent dirt from getting into the seals and to ensure the suspension continues to work smoothly.
• Lubricate the chain regularly with a quality lube or wax. The Shimano Cues groupset is already very hard-wearing but with proper servicing and maintenance it will last even longer.

What size Cube Aim Pro should I choose for my height?
The correct frame size for the Cube Aim Pro depends on your body height and inside leg measurement. Generally speaking, for people up to around 1.65 m tall, we recommend a size XS or S, which feature 27.5 inch wheels. If you are taller than 1.70 m, you will need a size M, L or XL and will benefit from the 29 inch wheels. To choose your best size, check the size chart in the upper right corner of this page or visit one of our Superstores to try out different sizes. Before your visit, please check current stock levels on this page to ensure that bikes in your preferred sizes are available.
What is the difference between the Cube Aim Pro and the Cube Aim Race mountain bikes?
The Cube Aim Race is fitted with slightly more luxurious components than the Cube Aim Pro. The main difference is that the suspension fork in the Aim Race version has a lock-out function, which means you can lock the suspension when cycling on smooth tarmac to save energy. The Aim Pro does not have this option. If you mainly use the bike on the road and want to pedal more efficiently, choose the Aim Race. For recreational use in the woods, the Aim Pro is a great and more affordable choice.
Can I install a kickstand on the Cube Aim Pro mountain bike?
Yes, you can easily fit a kickstand to the Aim Pro. The frame comes fitted with a Flat Mount (FM) kickstand mount on the rear triangle. You can screw an original Cube or ACID kickstand directly onto this mount for a super secure fit, which is ideal if you use the bike to commute to work or school. Are you specifically looking for a mountain bike for your daily commute or school use? Take a look at the Cube Aim Pro FE! It comes with pre-fitted mudguards, lights and a kickstand.
Does the Cube Aim Pro MTB come with pedals?
Yes, the Cube Aim Pro comes as standard with plastic CUBE PP MTB platform pedals. This means you can assemble and use the bike straight away, without having to buy separate pedals.
What is the maximum weight limit for the Cube Aim Pro mountain bike?
The maximum system weight for the Aim Pro is 140 kg: This is the sum of the bike itself (15.5 kg), your own body weight and any luggage or accessories. Maximum rider weight is set at 100 kg.
