TechWALL casing
The TechWALL Gravel casing uses elements of mountain bike and road casings to create a structure with a perfect balance between puncture protection and suppleness. The purpose of the carcass is to prevent cuts in the tyre's sidewalls, and so a structure that is optimally resistant to such cuts is used all over the carcass, and extra rubber has been added in strategic places.

SmartEVO compound
To get the most out of tubeless technology, Pirelli has taken its original SmartNET compound and developed it into the SmartEVO compound. This is an evolution of the rubber compounds Pirelli uses in its motor vehicle race tyres. SmartEVO uses three different polymers, each with a specific property; together, they create a balanced rubber compound that performs optimally at both ends of the spectrum. All this results in improved grip in both dry and wet conditions, more comfort and low rolling resistance.
