On this sporty bike you will be using the Shimano Deore gear system. This gear system is made for beginners. The components in this group are durable and reliable, so you can ride many miles with peace of mind. You have access to 11 gears and a 11/42 cassette. This gives you a wide range of gears so you can easily climb a viaduct. Braking is done by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. These brakes have plenty of stopping power, so you can stop in time, even in bad weather. They are also easy to control.
