The heart of this fitness bike is the high-quality frame made of aluminium. The cables are integrated into the frame so they are well protected. The bike has straight handlebars so your hands are always close to the brakes. This, together with the lightweight aluminium handlebars, makes for sharp steering.
Shifters and brakes
On this sporty bike you will be using the Shimano Deore gear system. This gear system is made for beginners. The components in this group are durable and reliable, so you can ride many miles with peace of mind. You have access to 11 gears and a 11/42 cassette. This gives you a wide range of gears so you can easily climb a viaduct. Braking is done by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. These brakes have plenty of stopping power, so you can stop in time, even in bad weather. They are also easy to control.
For all conditions
The BMC Alpenchallenge Four has mounting points on the frame that make it easy to mount mudguards. This makes it easy to use the bike even when the weather takes a turn for the worse. The Pirelli tyres roll lightly, have excellent puncture resistance and also offer plenty of grip.
