Votre vélo n'est pas équipé d'une potence standard, mais d'une potence dite 'Ahead' et cela complique l'utilisation d'un siège avant ? Yepp a la solution : l'adaptateur Ahead. Cet adaptateur facile à installer vous permet de fixer un siège Yepp Mini sur un vélo équipé d'une potence Ahead et de profiter ainsi d'une promenade à vélo sans souci avec votre enfant. Si vous utilisez l'adaptateur Yepp Ahead, il n'est pas possible de monter le pare-brise Yepp.

Indispensable pour installe siege yepp sur vtt

Le support se monte rapidement et est solide. Le siège ne bouge pas une fois installé et il est correctement positionné. C'est mon second achat pour monter sur VTT. Seul inconvénient, la notice ne précise pas dans quel ordre mettre les rondelles (classiques et crantées).

Does what it should, but check before installing

The adapter does what it supposed to, feels solid and it's easy to mount. It's one of the few options that fit a modern threadless headset. Unfortunately it was mounted the wrong way out of the box! I had to unbolt the seat support from the L bracket and bolt it back in the correct position. Be careful and double check before installing it. Also, the U screw is rather long and the locknut (the capped one) can't touch the nut and lock it as it should. Not an issue if you have some spare of the correct size.
