The frame is made of sturdy Alpha Platinum Aluminum and the Bosch Performance CX motor is strong and can handle the rougher work with ease. The Trek Powerfly 4 500 also features Tektro HD-M275 hydraulic disc brakes in combination with the 203 millimeter rotors.
