A true trail mountain bike
The Scott Spark 950 is a true trail mountain bike. The front fork has 130 mm suspension travel. You can ride the damper with 120 mm or 85 mm suspension travel. The Schwalbe Wicked Will 2.4 tyres offer plenty of grip on all kinds of terrain. These features make the bike reliable and give you maximum control on technical trails.
Free movement
The dropper post is going to give you a lot of fun. During the most challenging descents, lower the saddle. This will allow you to move freely around the bike and move your centre of gravity to the best position. When climbing, the saddle is back in place with a click.
SRAM GX derailleur and NX equipment
Switching behaviour is mainly determined by the derailleur. The SRAM GX on this Scott shifts smoothly and directly. It can also be found on Scott's more expensive models. The rest of the equipment is made up of SRAM NX Deore parts. Although this group is a bit heavier and a tad less nicely finished, it still delivers good performance.
Beautiful aluminium frame
The beautiful frame is made of strong aluminium. With the same refined geometry as the carbon variants of the Spark, you'll ride comfortably and with plenty of control on the trail. Indeed a bit heavier than a carbon bike, but therefore a more affordable option. And with two bottle cages, you can undertake long tours without any problems.
