Material and construction
The Aerothan inner tube is made entirely from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) from BASF. This TPU construction makes it considerably lighter than a butyl inner tube. Another advantage of TPU inner tubes is that their rolling resistance is lower than in standard butyl inner tubes.
Schwalbe Clik Valve (SCV)
SCV valve cores allow air to pass through much more easily so that tubeless tyres are much easier to fit. A Clik Valve pump head, or a pump head with the proper adapter, can be effortlessly clicked onto the valve and removed again. When the pump is removed, no further loss of pressure occurs, which is the case with Presta valves.
