BMC Granfondo GF02 Disc

The BMC GranFondo GF02 Disc is completely based on its more expensive GF01, which has in turn been designed together with the BMC racing team. The special properties of the GF02 are: an extremely ergonomic geometry, an extremely lightweight aluminium frame, and a focus on comfort and confidence-inspiring handling characteristics. This then is a perfect bike for long distance-rides, during which comfort is key.

TCC-concept
The Tuned Compliance Concept stands for the development of an extremely comfortable frame which doesn't have to sacrifice rigidity or proper handling. BMC has created such a frame using special aluminium construction methods. The high rate of vibration damping allows more energy to be converted into speed even though the bike remains comfortable after long days in the saddle.

Confidence
The BMC Granfondo GF02 Disc is known for its stability on descends. This is largely due to the reinforced head tube, the large-diameter down tube, and the extra rigid chain stays. The 32 mm wide tyres further boost your confidence, even on poor surfaces or on long century rides.

Ergonomics
The Endurance geometry of the BMC Granfondo GF02 Disc perfect then for long distance riding, but what causes this? The lower bottom bracket and less aggressive angle of the head tube create a highly stable platform. The taller head tube also creates a more relaxed riding position.

Note: All the bikes sold by Mantel come with the front brake on the left, and the rear brake on the right of the handlebar. If you’re accustomed to another set-up, then consider having this changed by an expert, or take your time to get used to the current set-up.
