Do you prefer a women's or a men's bike?
An actual women-specific frame is designed with the female body in mind and often has a shorter top tube and higher head tube. In most cases, though, the frame of a women's bike is very similar to a men's version but with modified contact points such as a shorter stem, narrower handlebars and a women's saddle.
