The heart of the Cannondale Caad13 is its lightweight aluminium frame, which is very stiff for super stable handling. The bike also comes with a carbon fork, which absorbs bumps and potholes in the road very well, allowing you to stay fully in control of your bike even at high speeds.
Shifting and braking
For gear changing on this road bike, you have the Shimano Tiagra drivetrain. It delivers great shifting performance and lasts a long time. The bike comes with 20 gears and an 11-34 cassette, giving you a large gearing range and allowing you to find suitable gears on the flat as well as in the hills. For braking, you use Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. These deliver excellent braking performance in good as well as bad conditions. These disc brakes are also easy to modulate to let you be well in control when cornering.
