Pros & Cons
Pros & Cons
- Performs very well on asphalt, light gravel roads or as a commute tyre. The ultimate allrounder!
- The SmartEVO AS compound offers excellent grip and dampening on both wet and dry surfaces.
- The combination of a tubeless-ready construction and extra puncture protection ensures you can hit the road with confidence!
- More than half of the materials used are recycled or bio-based, so very sustainable.
- The all-road properties come at the expense of weight and rolling resistance on dry and smooth asphalt.

A good balance between grip and comfort
Thanks to the SmartEVO AS compound, the tyre offers excellent grip on both dry and wet surfaces. While the special rubber formula dampens vibrations and improves handling, the tread design – inspired by Pirelli's Scorpion Trail III motorbike tyre – gives you extra control. The tubeless-ready construction with multiple layers of puncture protection increases reliability on long rides.
Progressive in durability
More than 50% of the material consists of recycled and bio-based raw materials. These include FSC-certified natural rubber, vegetable oils for better winter performance, silica from rice husk ash and rNylon derived from recycled fishing nets. This makes the Cinturato Evo TLR not only sustainable but also future-proof without compromising on performance.

3 / 5
Fine tyre, not exceptional, with good puncture resistance. However: cannot be put on the rim.
The tyre itself is nothing special, but it does its job. They are a bit heavy and bulky, but that's the price you pay for puncture resistance. However, the big problem with this tyre for me is getting the tyre onto the rim (DT Swiss ERC). I've fitted quite a few tyres in my cycling life anyway, but I've never experienced not getting a tyre on. This is the first one. My bike maintainer had to do it with special tools.

4 / 5
Functional
Smooth performance in rides covering asphalt and cracked surfaces. Quiet but feels a little bit heavy or slow at times. Confidence inspiring in terms of handling. Still need to test on wet surfaces and colder weather.
