This SRAM Rival XPLR eTap AXS rear derailleur is compatible with all SRAM Force AXS parts. It can be used with all SRAM Rival shifters, but also with Force shifters or the SRAM Eagle MTB shifter. This gives you endless personalisation options and allows you to completely customise your bike to your preferences.
This SRAM Rival eTap AXS rear derailleur can be used with 1x and 2x 12-speed drivetrains.

This SRAM Rival XPLR eTap AXS rear derailleur does not come with a battery.
A crooked derailleur hanger is a common problem. It can be caused by the derailleur coming into contact with something hard, which may happen during a fall, for example. Fortunately, this can be repaired! Find out more here.
Make sure you clean your jockey wheels too!
Like the chain, derailleur pulleys can get very dirty. This makes for a less enjoyable ride and may affect the durability of your drivetrain. Therefore, when cleaning or oiling the chain, it is advisable to also clean the jockey wheels. You can do this by gently turning the chain while running a cloth along the pulley. Nonetheless, at some point the jockey wheels will wear out. Read our blog to find out when to replace your pulleys and which ones you need.

Good rear derailleur with limited durability
Great rear derailleur with optimum range for gravel use. Fast and precise gear changes, very easy to fit and very easy to adjust. Unfortunately, the predecessor only lasted about 2 years, which shouldn't really be the case given the price. The motor became weaker and was no longer able to drive the large sprockets. Unfortunately, probably not an isolated case. Thanks to Mantel for the fast delivery.

Shifts as fast as an F1 car
Derailleur replaced on my gravel bike because the previous one was no longer getting the chain on the larger sprockets. It seems to me that this is a disadvantage of electronic shifting anyway. If you ride too much in dirt or rain, the derailleur simply gives up after so many thousands of km. This was already the 2nd time I had it happen. Nevertheless, I am still a fan. Replacing the gear is super smooth, it hardly takes any effort. Like replacing the TV remote. And the Rival Etap XPLR group shifts really super smoothly!
