Pros & Cons

Pros & Cons

  • Equip your gravel bike with a high-quality SRAM Rival XPLR eTap AXS derailleur.
  • This rear derailleur allows you to shift quickly, smoothly and wirelessly.
  • This SRAM Rival XPLR eTap AXS has a great price-quality ratio
  • Thanks to the X-Sync derailleur pulley wheels, your chain will continue to shift smoothly, even on rough terrain.
  • This rear derailleur is heavier than the SRAM Force eTap AXS 12-speed rear derailleur.
  • Since this XPLR derailleur is not equipped with a clutch mechanism, the chain is more likely to rattle.
  • Please note: Battery and charger are not included as standard.

Shifts as fast as an F1 car

- Yves 6 September 2024

Derailleur replaced on my gravel bike because the previous one was no longer getting the chain on the larger sprockets. It seems to me that this is a disadvantage of electronic shifting anyway. If you ride too much in dirt or rain, the derailleur simply gives up after so many thousands of km. This was already the 2nd time I had it happen. Nevertheless, I am still a fan. Replacing the gear is super smooth, it hardly takes any effort. Like replacing the TV remote. And the Rival Etap XPLR group shifts really super smoothly!

Pros & Cons

Easy assembly and installation
Very smooth shifting
Electronic derailleurs break down quickly
