The Challenge Strada Bianca Pro has been developed for cobblestones, (bad) asphalt, and gravel. The tyre is comfortable, fast, supple and has a high puncture protection. This makes it ideal for gravel bikes, cyclocrossers and racing bikes!

Cotton carcass and extra wide
This tyre has a cotton carcass, on which the tread is placed. Thanks to this carcass, the tyre is very supple, which makes the rolling resistance low and you steer noticeably better with this tyre. The extra width of 30 mm or 36 mm ensures that the tyre gives a lot of damping during cycling and thus increases comfort. If you have a road bike, you have to make sure that the tyre fits in your bike because of this larger width.

Tread and puncture protection
The tread of this tyre has been given extra puncture protection. For this purpose Challenge has developed the PPS-2 technology. Thanks to this technology, pebbles and other sharp objects are less likely to penetrate and give you a flat tyre. This surface has also been given a tread with as much grip as possible, while maintaining a lowest possible rolling resistance.

Different widths mean different tyre pressures
These Challenge Strada Bianca Pro bike tyres are available in different widths. The beauty of wider tyres is that they require less air to achieve the same rolling resistance as a narrower tyre with more air. In addition, you also get extra comfort, so it is actually a win-win situation. A wider tyre will therefore also have a lower maximum tyre pressure than a narrower one.
