Stunning frame
At the core of the fantastic bike is the 500 series OCLV carbon frame. Not only is it streamlined, it is also comfortable. In fact, the Adjustable Top Tube IsoSpeed in the frame lets you adjust the flexibility to your liking. Damping is controlled by an elastomer that ensures smooth, controlled and stable rebound movement. Moreover, the frame ensures that the ride characteristics are also among the best.
Top equipment
Very good components have also been chosen for the Trek Madone SL's equipment. The latest Shimano Ultegra R8150 groupsets really need no explanation at all. The same technology and design as the Dura Ace variant but with a slightly different colour. Superfast electronic shifting and a 2x12 speed drivetrain are the key words here.

The Madone SL 7 comes with carbon Bontrager Aeolus Comp disc wheels. These are rigid and aerodynamic so these components also contribute to the good steering characteristics and easy to achieve high speeds. To round things off, an aerodynamic Bontrager handlebar is fitted which is also suitable for mounting a top-mounted handlebar.
