Shimano SH-XC302 + PD-M520

With Shimano's reliable M520 pedals and comfortable XC302 shoes, you are all set for your rides through the woods! This combo offers great grip and stability on muddy rides, and the direct connection between shoe and pedal ensures excellent power transfer on unpaved trails.

Material and fit
The upper of the shoe consists of a synthetic leather with small perforations for good airflow and pleasant breathability on warmer spring and summer days. The seamless midsole wraps your foot very nicely and prevents annoying pressure points. The shoe has a snug and secure fit for efficient pedalling. As the materials are not waterproof, we recommend using this set mainly in dry and mild conditions, or with shoe covers in wet forest conditions.

Finish and pedal details
For easy yet precise fit adjustments, the shoe has a single BOA dial closure on the instep. At the bottom is a rubber outsole that offers good grip when you need to walk a bit on slippery forest soil. The included steel pedals have an open design that sheds mud and sand very smoothly and that allows for easy clipping in and out at all times. The axle seal keeps water and dirt out. To set your preferred pedal tension, simply adjust it using an Allen key.
