Bosch Smart System

The Bosch Performance Line CX motor features the Smart System, where you control everything at the Purion 200 display and use the Bosch Flow app to fine-tune your assistance levels, track your ride and install updates to ensure your e-bike stays up to date after purchase.

PowerTube 720 battery

The 720 Wh battery is fully integrated into the frame, giving the bike a sleek silhouette and keeping the centre of gravity low. You will notice this particularly when cornering and tackling technical terrain: The bike handles more predictably than with a battery mounted on the frame.

X-Connect system

Using the X-Connect interface on the handlebars, you can plug in a compatible ACID front bike light directly, without any separate cables or extra plugs. This can be a very conventient option if you want to hit the road early in the morning or at dusk.

Compatible with:

• ACID front bike lights with X-Connect - plug directly into the handlebars
• A kickstand - use the special flat mount under the chain guard
• A multi-tool - use the mounting point beneath the tube
• Luggage racks and mudguards compatible with this frame size and the 148 mm Boost rear axle

Not compatible with:

• Front bike lights without an X-Connect plug - these must be connected using a separate cable instead of the built-in connector
• Child seats - the bike frame and geometry are not designed to carry extra weight at the front or rear
• Wheels with a different axle spacing than 15x110 mm (front) and 12x148 mm (rear)

Not included / still required or useful:

• MTB pedals - this bike is supplied without specific mountain bike pedals; choose, for example, MTB pedals that fit your shoes
• One or more bike locks, such as the AXA chain lock
• Kickstand - this Cube has a mounting point for one but the kickstand itself is not included
• Bike lights with X-Connect plug

• Top up the PowerTube battery a little after every ride. This is better for its lifespan than letting it run completely flat every time.
• Check the tyre pressure of the Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres regularly - on unpaved terrain, you will ride more comfortably with slightly lower pressure than on asphalt.
• When cleaning the bike frame and motor, use a bike cleaner but not a high-pressure washer that sprays directly onto the motor housing.
• Lubricate the chain regularly, especially after a wet or muddy ride.
