Shimano XTR M9100 brakes are made of high-quality materials and are designed to last. Shimano XTR M9100 disc brakes are the ultimate in braking power for your mountain bike. They offer excellent stopping power, precise modulation, light weight and long life.
Excellent braking power and low weight
These Shimano XTR M9100 disc brakes give you excellent stopping power and are low in weight. The caliper is forged from a single piece of aluminium, while the brake lever is made from magnesium, aluminium and composite. This makes for a very low weight without compromising on braking power, which is very high and requires little effort to apply. This allows you to go through tricky passages with more control.
The position of the brake lever on the Shimano XTR M9100 Disc Brakes is almost entirely adjustable. Thanks to I-Spec EV, you can adjust the position of the brake lever in relation to the shifter both horizontally and vertically. The distance between brake lever and handlebar can also be adjusted without tools, making this brake also suitable for mountain bikers with smaller hands.
If you switch to a different brand of disc brake or want to fit a different rotor size, you will need a different adapter between frame and caliper.

An excellent product, no surprises with the XTR, it brakes well and is very high quality.
Excellent product, very easy to fit and maintain thanks to a very simple bleed system (very advantageous compared to SRAM). The finish is top quality. The only point that Shimano could improve is the long travel of the brake lever before the pads make contact. This isn't very pleasant for small fingers... you have to set the brake lever to close to mini, but when you tighten it, the lever comes very close to the handle!
