Race mode is a must for night-time driving
I've been using it regularly for over a week now. As I don't have round handlebars, this was the most powerful light compatible with aero handlebars. The race mode is really nice to use when riding in the dark. By simply pressing the top button, you can switch from low beam to full beam so as not to disturb other motorists. The normal mode, meanwhile, offers several flashes followed by different levels of fixed illumination.

Great light
Great light, good price at Mantel. Standard Lezyne design of one button to control everything, which can be a little annoying cycling through all the modes, but overall super.

Can recommend it worth the price
Very easy to use.

Good lamp, even in the dark forest
The Lezyne 1200+ offers a very good light output for my rides in the forest in complete darkness (no trails). I usually ride with the Enduro mode (300 lumens). Only rarely do I feel the need to switch to 1200 lumens. In fact, these are the only modes I actively use. I am therefore very grateful for the Race Mode, which switches back and forth between exactly these two modes. The battery life is okay, only the charging time could be a little faster. The construction is absolutely solid and robust.

Great for outlying areas
Harvest time, ink-black wet roads with rubbish, blinded by oncoming traffic, on the gravel bike at 35kmh through the countryside, without street lights, this scenario is not indicated when buying a lamp "either you are cycling in a city or in a dark forest" With this lamp, at this speed in my situation, I can see ahead sufficiently, see what is on the road surface and also the surroundings are sufficiently illuminated even during glaring oncoming traffic (cars)
