Also want to go on the MTB trails with your gravel bike in addition to forestry roads and field paths? Then you will have enough grip in the corners with the higher side tread of the G-One Bite. In addition, the space between the side studs ensures that water and mud are easily drained in wetter conditions. This gives you sufficient grip at all times. Because the studs on the central tread are close together, you will also be able to get fine on the asphalt, although the specialty of the G-One Bite is definitely off-road.
The RaceGuard anti-puncture layer consists of two layers of nylon that cross each other. As a result, the tyre does not become much heavier, while you still have good puncture resistance.
Addix Compound
The Addix rubber compound has a long lifespan and offers an optimal balance between all the requirements of an outer tyre. This makes this rubber compound very universal and can be used for many applications.
Tubeless Easy
At Schwalbe, they are firmly convinced that tubeless riding is the tire technology of the future. That is why Schwalbe has ensured that all mountain bike tyres with the TLE designation are optimized for riding without a tube. The construction of the carcass also makes the assembly process easier.
Weight:
• 40-622: 485 grams
The weight we mention is weighed by the manufacturer and may differ from the actual weight when you weigh the tyre yourself at home. This deviation is usually small and is due to the production process.

Trial run with new Schwalbers
Fitted this tyre on the rear and the Ultrabite on the front for more traction while handlebars, bars. am now a few hundred kilometres on the road and like it as long as it doesn't get muddy. Traction is good on unpaved and gravel roads but less so on grass and in loose sand.

Great band!
This tyre offers great traction on softer (forest) surfaces and also has low rolling resistance on asphalt pavement. I dare to cut corners a bit harder now....

Excellent grip and comfort, very satisfied.
I am very satisfied with the Schwalbe G-One Gravel tyres. They offer excellent grip on both loose gravel and hard surfaces. The tyres roll smoothly and give great confidence, even when cornering. They also provide extra comfort on longer rides thanks to the larger air volume. Perfect choice for those seeking versatility and performance on gravel roads.

Nice combination of grip and speed
Very fine and nice tyre, more grip than expected (use the tyre on the front of the bike) Goes well through loose sand at speed. Little resistance on the road too. rolls lightly. Fitted this tyre on a 29-inch mountain bike rim. At first had trouble getting it to run nice and straight, had a wobble in it. Later was able to adjust. Maybe this had to do with my rim not being tubeless ready (rim tape gets in the way). Rolling resistance seems very low, is fast both on forest ground with sand and on the road.
