The Schwalbe G-One Bite Addix Performance TLE is a great value for money gravel tyre, ideal for dry and wet conditions. The combination of the RaceGuard anti-puncture layer and the Addix compound provides a gravel tyre with a lot of grip and good puncture protection.
Also want to go on the MTB trails with your gravel bike in addition to forestry roads and field paths? Then you will have enough grip in the corners with the higher side tread of the G-One Bite. In addition, the space between the side studs ensures that water and mud are easily drained in wetter conditions. This gives you sufficient grip at all times. Because the studs on the central tread are close together, you will also be able to get fine on the asphalt, although the specialty of the G-One Bite is definitely off-road.
The RaceGuard anti-puncture layer consists of two layers of nylon that cross each other. As a result, the tyre does not become much heavier, while you still have good puncture resistance.

Bite-versionen går bra på sand, grus och skogsstigar. Även om det är lite blött. Självklart inte lika mycket grepp som däck med högre profil som mer liknar mountainbikedäck, men i gengäld rullar du mycket lättare över halvasfalterade sträckor som en stor del av en grusresa ofta består av. Återigen valde jag 40 mm däcktjocklek på grund av dess perfekta balans mellan komfort och hastighet.
