Description

The Powertap P2 pedals are among the most advanced pedals available to measure power output. Compared to the Powertap P1, a few key improvements have been made.

First of all, Powertap managed to reduced the weight of the P2 pedals. This resulted in a weight of only 398 grams, which is unprecedented for a power meter!
In addition, the pedals are much more durable, which ensures the pedals will work smoothly long after the warranty period is over.
The battery life of these pedals has been improved as well, the battery now lasts up to 80 hours!

You can analyse the output of these pedals with the Powertap Advanced Pedal metrics app. This app shows feedback of the power output during your training exercise or competition. While this can concern the total output, you can also measure the difference between your left and right leg. This data is useful for further improving your training schedule.
