Durability and puncture resistance are crucial when riding on off-road terrain. The tyre carcass features a puncture protection strip that does not stiffen the tyre much, but moulds it to the ground for low rolling resistance and high grip. In addition, it performs exceptionally well with Zipp's widest and most versatile rim, the 303, but also with other rims.

Ingenious match between ZIPP 303s wheels and ZIPP G40 tyres; the front tyre has already been in service for over two years and almost 6TKM. The rear wheel only fell victim to a too big cut and was replaced by the identical make: Tubeless again, of course!
