Shimano XTR M9100 MT-900 brake discs have been developed in conjunction with the Shimano XTR M9100 groupset. The Shimano MT-900 brake discs provide stable and powerful braking power. The brake force is easy to dose and gives you maximum control. The greater the brake disc, the greater the braking force and the ability to lock your wheel.
- Shimano RT-MT900 brake disc including lock ring
How do I mount a disc brake rotor?
For disc brake rotors, you have 2 different ways of mounting depending on the lock ring. One has an internal fit that you can tighten with a Cassette Removal Tool without a pin. If the inside of the key is open, it can reach far enough over the axle of the wheel. The other version is an external fit that you can tighten with a bottom bracket tool.
