KMC E1 EPT Waxed

The KMC E1 EPT Waxed bike chain is pre-treated with KMC GO wax so that it is more durable, sheds dirt more easily, shows less wear, and offers lower resistance for many carefree rides.

KMC's E1 EPT chains are premium single-speed chains for use on (electric) bikes with internal gear hubs. These chains are highly durable and rust-resistant thanks to their EcoProTeQ (EPT) coating. This coating ensures that mud, sand and salt have little to no effect on the chain’s wear. As a result, the chain will last longer, even if often used in harsher weather conditions! Plus, the pins are reinforced to make the chain e-bike compatible.

The EPT (EcoProTeQ) coating on this KMC chain is eco-friendly and non-toxic, and makes the chain highly corrosion-resistant. As each chain component is individually treated with the EPT coating, water, salt and humidity don’t stand a chance of damaging the chain!

The KMC E1 EPT bike chain is compatible with single-speed bikes and bikes with an internal gear hub. It is also compatible with e-bikes.
