Just not quite perfect anymore!
I’ve been a Schwalbe fan for 15 years, and the rubber only starts to harden (losing grip on cobbles, etc.) after about seven years; their puncture-resistant layer is superb – I’ve only ever had one puncture, which was caused by a piece of wire piercing the sidewall.
