The SRAM Road & MTB Resin & Quiet organic brake pads are compatible with SRAM brakes. Organic brake pads consist of soft materials and, therefore, give you excellent modulation and braking power. Thanks to the soft compound, the brake pads engage quickly. Moreover, the organic compound ensures that these brake pads make little noise during your ride.
A disadvantage of organic brake pads is that they do not withstand higher temperatures very well that can occur during long descents. Also, organic brake pads wear faster if you often ride in muddy conditions.
In short, if you use your bike mainly in the summer and in quite flat areas, these organic brake pads are a perfect choice. However, if you use your bike mainly in the winter or ride regularly in hilly/mountainous areas, Semi-Metallic brake pads are a better choice.
Please note
Manufacturers use different fits so please check if the shape of the brake pad in the picture corresponds to that of your current brake pad. If you do not know what shape your current brake pad is, scroll to Compatibility below, where you will find the types of brakes with which these brake pads are compatible.

After installing new brake pads, it is essential that you break them in. Doing so will make them last longer, brake better and squeak less. SRAM recommends the following procedure for bedding in their brake pads:
• Accelerate the bike to a moderate speed (approx. 20 kilometres per hour), then brake firmly until you are riding at walking pace. Repeat some 20 times.
• Accelerate the bike to a higher speed (approx. 32 km/h), then brake firmly and suddenly until you reach walking speed. Repeat some 10 times.
• Allow the brakes to cool before starting your first ride.
