Description
Description
The Sram Road & MTB 2020 Soft & Quiet are organic brake pads for Sram brakes. Organic brake pads consist of soft materials. These brake pads therefore provide excellent controllability and braking power. In addition, the organic compound ensures that these brake pads make little noise while riding.
The disadvantage of organic brake pads is that they do not cope as well with higher temperatures that can occur during long descents. Also, organic brake pads wear faster if you ride in muddy conditions.
In short, if you use your bike in the summer, then these organic brake pads are the perfect choice. However, if you use your bike in the winter, or go to hilly/mountainous areas regularly, then Semi-Metallic brake pads are the way to go.
Note
Manufacturers use different fits. So please pay attention if the shape of the brake pad in the picture corresponds to your current brake pad. If you do not know what shape you have, check out our brake pad selection guide.
MTB: Sram Level Ultimate 2020, Sram Level TLM 2020
Road: SRAM Force AXS / SRAM Red AXS 2020
