The Maxxis Minion DHR II tubeless tyre is also a good choice for tracks with a high risk of punctures. To give the tyre optimal protection against punctures, it has been equipped with Exo Protection technology. Exo Protection is a puncture and wear-resistant protective layer in the sidewall of the tyre. This compactly woven material offers good protection against stones, gravel, tree trunks and other sharp objects that might damage the tyre.
The sidewalls of the Minions have Exo Protection, a material that is highly resistant to cuts and has extreme abrasion resistance. This tightly woven fabric is lightweight and very flexible, so the tyre's performance is not compromised. Opt for tyres with EXO Protection when you are riding on exceptionally rocky, treacherous trails where the risk of sidewall cuts or damage is very high.
3C MaxxGrip
The triple MaxxGrip compound is made out of the softest rubber compounds for ultimate grip and shock absorption in downhill situations.
DoubleDown
DoubleDown represents a 120 tpi dual layer carcass with a butyl insert. This keeps the weight low for enduro, but offers the protection of a downhill tyre. Therefore, this gives you the perfect combination of protection, stability and weight.
Tubeless Ready
The Maxxis Minion DHR is tubeless compatible. This allows you to ride the tyre without a tube, which has many benefits. The main benefits are lower rolling resistance, more grip, control and added comfort.
• 3C/EXO/TR & 3C/ECO+/TR are equipped with a MaxxTerra interlayer.
• 3C/DD/TR is equipped with a MaxxGrip interlayer.

Exceptional grip for the price of some extra rolling resistance.
Very good tyre that delivers tonnes of grip even in difficult conditions. This is not a mud tyre yet it performed very well in mud sections. Ok in forest, on roots and on rocks and stone (but that is what it is made for). So it can do more than is claimed by Maxxis. The price you pay for this is a bit higher rolling resistance. But if you ride downhill or enduro, that doesn't matter to you, or if like me you also ride cross country with an Ebike, that doesn't matter either. I wouldn't put this on my non-Ebike XC mtb.

Fine tyre in many conditions on south Limburg soil
Fine tyre. Have now fitted these to my bike for the 2nd time. Especially now with the washed-out mud and gravel roads in my southern Limburg backyard. Ride it all year round. Good grip in all weather conditions. Also fitted the front dhf, also very satisfied with it.

Super! Very satisfied
Ivm the bad weather in recent weeks, I was looking for a good mud tyre in the front wheel. This one does well here in the Limburg clay! Steers very confidently. No more slips. A bit rough on tarmac though but just pedal a bit harder. Definitely worth the compromise!

Gold of old behind band that does what it's supposed to do.
After an Agressor and Dissector back to the classic DHR.
