			Pros & Cons
Pros & Cons
- The Challenge Baby Limus PRO TLR is an all-round tyre for changing conditions and for use on sand, grass and icy surfaces.
 - The fact that this tyre is tubeless ready makes it very reliable and resistant to punctures on bad roads with lots of gravel.
 - The cotton carcass makes this tyre extra supple in comparison to other tubeless cyclocross and gravel tyres.
 - The tyre sheds dirt and mud well due to the open profile of the tread.
 - These tyres are compatible with hookless rims.

- For the muddiest surfaces you're better off with a Challenge Limus tyre.
 - This tyre has slightly higher rolling resistance than the Challenge Grifo Pro tyre.

The open tread evacuates dirt and mud well, so you lose little grip. This also makes the tyre ideal for snow and icy conditions. Challenge TLR tyres comply with the new ETRTO standard and are compatible with Hookless rims. Designed to comply with UCI regulations, the tyres perform well up to rims with an internal rim width of 23 mm.
These tyres are designed to ride without inner tubes. Adding latex when fitted to tubeless rims means that if you have a puncture you don't have to stop on the road to get your tyre repaired. The latex sealant in the tyre will fill small holes in these tyres in no time.

Bolts well, but disappointed in the quality given the price.
With the help of washing-up liquid quite reasonable on the rim. Then plops nicely into the rim, but certainly not immediately airtight. After one ride and two extra pumps, the front wheel is nicely airtight. The rear wheel just won't cooperate, even with a second ribbon of tape and 120ml of recommended latex. I suspect the tyre is not quite round. As a test, put a schwalbe tyre on it and no problem. By the way, the tyres ride fine and approximate tubes.

Best intermediate CX tyre
Great tyre for squishy surfaces. Easy to set-up. Sits perfectly on a Zipp 303s.

Brilliant for everything except wet mud
Firstly, these tyres came completely flat so a little tricky to get first bead around the [carbon] rim, then quite tricky to get the whole tyre on the rim and had to use a bit of soapy water. Took valve out and used an airshot to seat the tyre before adding sealant and straight up to pressure. No leaking of sealant (Peaty’s) through sidewalls visible. As for riding, have found them absolutely brilliant, first CX race felt very stable on some grassy switchbacks that were off camber, was running around 25psi. I even felt really confident on a ‘fast’ downhill left hander on mud. Whilst the tyre is great and can really feel the suppleness, with the mud we can get in the UK I’d keep these for the start of the CX season or dry conditions, and would opt for at least a Limus front tyre in future for wetter and muddier conditions
