Description
The Verve+ 5 is an electric trekking bike designed according to the principles of Trek's Ultimate Comfort Philosophy. All Trek bikes built with this philosophy in mind are among the most comfortable in their class. So is this Verve+ 5.
The frame is made of lightweight Alpha smooth aluminium. Distinguished by a low weight and beautifully finished welds. Even more beautiful than the welds themselves is the integration of the Bosch engine and battery into the frame. With 500 Watt-hours capacity you have the best battery capacity you can wish for. With this comfort and high capacity, long bike rides become a joy.
In addition to a top notch battery, Trek also built the Bosch Active Line Plus motor into the frame. This Plus variant is the stronger variant of the popular Bosch Active Line mid-mounted motor. This makes it even easier to ride uphill or with headwinds.
Comfort is embedded in several aspects of this Trek. The frame of the Verve+ 5 has a comfortable geometry for a fine sitting position. And with the adjustable stem, it's even easier to adjust the handlebars to optimise your riding position. The suspension seatpost dampens all vibrations for your bottom and back, and the suspension fork dampens vibrations for your arms and shoulders. This is how this Verve+ 5 manages to ride so smoothly.
The Shimano derailleur shifters always provide good shifting and smooth power transmission. Moreover, the hydraulic disc brakes give a lot of braking power, so you'll come to a stop on time in any situation.
