Description
The Shimano H01A Resin brake pads are organic brake pads that are suitable for Shimano disc brakes. Organic brake pads are made of soft materials. These brake pads therefore provide excellent controllability and good braking power. Because of the soft compound, this brake pad also engages quickly and the organic compound ensures that these brake pads make little noise while driving.
These brake pads are placed on a backplate with cooling fins. Organic brake pads are less resistant to higher temperatures than the Semi-Metallic brake pads. The cooling fins, however, have greatly improved these properties, making them suitable for use in hilly areas.
In short, if you use the bike mainly in the summer and cycle especially in hilly areas, then you have the perfect choice with these organic brake pads. However, if you use the bike mainly in winter, or if you go to a mountainous area, then you better go for Semi-Metallic brake pads.
