The entry-level version pedal in the Speedplay Zero-family. The 108g per pedal and the many options to adjust them make this pedal an absolute gem. The list of qualities of this system could be the wish list of a professional cyclist. No other pedal gets close to the Zero when it comes to adjustability, weight, and durability. All existing ideas about clipless pedal were forgotten (the first system is not necessarily the best), and ultimately this resulted in the technically most advanced pedal system.

Speedplay pedals have a few advantages compared to other road bike pedals. You are close to the axle so the power transmission is optimal. The pedal is super flat, which makes it possible to pedal through the corners, and it improves aerodynamics. You can clip in to both sides of the pedal. The mechanism to clip in mechanism is placed in the cleat and makes it possible to adjust play between 0 and 15 degrees. The mechanism is positioned in the middle, which keeps the weight of the pedals down.
