Durable
This touring bike is built with excellent components. The Shimano Deore shifters are high quality and, therefore, less prone to wear. That being said, an open powertrain with derailleur gears always requires a little more TLC than hub gears, for example. The lights are powered by a hub dynamo. The vulnerable parts are safely concealed, ensuring reliability. Hydraulic rim brakes are also known for their reliability, partly because no mechanical cables are involved.
