The Cannondale Topstone Carbon 4 is a very suitable gravel bike for anyone who likes to take a hefty gravel ride in comfort.
Gravel comfortably
Cannondale has developed a gravel bike that will let you rip over unpaved routes excellently. A clever frame, suspension elements and sturdy equipment will give you many adventurous kilometres.
The carbon frame is the basis of the Cannondale Topstone Carbon 4. It is light and stiff, ensuring stable handling. Moreover, this gravel bike features the OutFront geometry. This geometry balances stable and very direct steering, making the Topstone 4 very agile in addition to stable. The bike also comes with the Kingpin suspension. This technology provides the bike with up to 3cm of suspension at the rear, so you will be comfortable on the bike even on the more challenging trails. In addition, the carbon fork handles bumps well to sooth your ride even further.
Shifting and braking
This gravel bike is equipped with a Shimano GRX 400 drivetrain. This groupset was specially developed for gravel riding, so your shifting will be very reliable and smooth, even in tough conditions. The 2x10 drivetrain with 11-34 cassette provides a wide gear range, allowing you to conquer even the steepest stretches in a comfortable gear. On the descents, you can rely on Shimano's hydraulic disc brakes, which deliver powerful braking performance, even in poor conditions. In addition, these brakes are easy to dose, so you can confidently steer into corners even on steep descents.
Bikepacking
The rims on this Cannondale are tubeless-ready. Tubeless riding means lower rolling resistance and less chance of punctures. Perfect for riding long distances! Furthermore, the frame contains plenty of mounting points, to which you can mount panniers. This makes the bike not only suitable for gravel paths, but also for excellent bikepacking.
The integrated wheel sensor provides accurate data on speed, route and distance. The system registers your bike, reminds you of maintenance deadlines and other things via the free Cannondale app.
