The most realistic indoor cycling experience!
The main new feature of the Neo 3M is the integrated lateral and fore-aft movement. This doesn't just make your indoor training feel even more real, but also reduces body fatigue. Done with all those movements? Simply switch them off and transform your agile trainer into a simple, stable direct drive trainer. Thanks to the unique NEO magnetic motor, you'll climb virtual inclines up to 25% and enjoy downhill simulations. The Neo 3M also features a virtual flywheel, allowing you to simulate different types of surfaces at your home! So with this Road-Feel system, you can simulate the feel of gravel, dirt roads or even the famous cobblestones of Roubaix!
Reliable and accurate
To really train well and get better, you obviously have to be able to trust your trainer. The Tacx Neo 3M offers highly accurate power measurement with a maximum deviation of 1%, with a maximum power output of 2200 watts. Plus, this trainer calibrates automatically, and you can keep an eye on your power output via the handy LED indicator!
Always connected
You can easily connect the Tacx Neo 3M via ANT+ or Bluetooth to a variety of devices, from phones to heart rate monitors. Plus, it seamlessly connects with all your favourite training apps, like Zwift, TrainerRoad, TrainingPeaks or the Tacx Training App. Just like its predecessors, the Neo 3M powers itself, so you can avoid all the hassle of a power cable. With the optional Tacx Smart Network Adapter, you can also add an internet or Wi-Fi connection to your trainer, for a more stable and stronger connection to other devices. Ideal if you want to ride a virtual race, for example!
On your mark, get set, go!
This all-rounder comes with an 11-speed cassette, suitable for Shimano as well as SRAM! You'll get three months of free access to all sorts of useful training features, like tracking your progress, with the Tacx Training App Trial. To top it all off, the built-in handle makes it easy to store the Tacx Neo 3M away after your workout. So you can focus on your recovery and the next training session, of course!
• The standard freehub body is suitable for Shimano 8 to 12-speed cassettes. You'll need a different freehub body for use with a 12-speed SRAM cassette. The same applies for bikes with Campagnolo cassette and all mountain bikes with 12-speed freehub bodies.
• Shimano/SRAM 11-speed cassette
• Quick release adapters (130mm & 135mm)
• Steekas (142x12 & 148x12)
• Tacx snelspanner
• Voedingskabel
• Gebruikershandleiding
Voor de Tacx Neo zijn er speciale motion plates beschikbaar waarmee je nog dynamischer op de fiets zit.
Een Tacx stuurhouder kan handig zijn om je bidon en tablet makkelijk in kwijt te kunnen.
Yes, disc brakes are no problem. However, it is important that the axle fits correctly. The trainer comes with adapters for 142x12 mm and 148x12 mm thru-axles. These adapters are used in combination with your bike's axle.
Does this trainer come with a cassette?
Yes, the Tacx Neo 3M comes with an 11-speed cassette, suitable for both Shimano and SRAM! So you can start training right away.
What cassette do I need for my trainer?
You will need the same type of cassette as your bike for smooth gear shifting. The only remaining question is whether it will fit your trainer. To determine this, we look at the brand of the cassette and the number of teeth. Does your bike have a Shimano or SRAM cassette? And one with 8 to 11 sprockets? Then your cassette will fit without any additional requirements. Depending on the cassette, you may need to place a number of spacers on the trainer body. Do you have a SRAM 12 speed drivetrain? Then you first need to install this SRAM XD/XD-R body. Do you have a 12 speed Shimano cassette? Then you need to install this Micro-Spline Body first.
What tools do I need to install a cassette on my Tacx?
To install your cassette, you'll need a chain whip and a cassette remover. These tools can be found here. You can read more about installing a cassette in this blog.
Can I use my Campagnolo equipped bike with this trainer?
Yes, you can with 9-12 speed groupsets. However, you will need to replace the default body with this Campagnolo body first.

Top model with flaws
After my previous tacx broke down after years of loyal service, I bought this one. This tacx has a natural cycling experience because of the vibrating plates and because the bike is not static in the tacx but can move with it. It also reacts faster to changing climbing percentages. It is a pity that at high percentages and when your pedalling frequency is low, the tacx slips quite a lot, which is certainly at the expense of riding pleasure. I certainly didn't expect the 3M. I wouldn't recommend it for this price
