The Flux 2 can do it all!
The Flux 2 is one of the quieter turbo trainers in our range. Ideal if you’re training in a noise-carrying environment. The Flux 2 Smart’s integrated power meter has an maximum deviation of 2.5 percent, making it one of the most precise trainers on the marker. Ideal when you’re training for power. The Flux 2 Smart is also an excellent pick for those training for muscle. It has a maximum power of 2000 watts. Plus, it can simulate inclines up to 16%. The Flux 2’s electronic brake can be controlled by software. This allows for truly realistic simulated climbs, due to automatic gradient adjustments. This makes the Flux 2 an excellent base for a wide variety of bike training.

Connecting to Software and Devices
Easily and quickly pair this smarttrainer to other sensors with ANT+, with its ANT+ and ANT+ FE-C functionality. This allows you to collect even more training data. Done with your workout? You can easily upload your training data to other devices, apps or software via the Bluetooth signal.

Suited for a wide range of bikes
Does your bike have a thru axles? Then the adapter set for this is included. The Flux 2 is compatible with your road bike as well as your mountain bike. Connecting to Windows PCs

Do you own a Tacx Flux 2 Smart and do you want to get the more out of your training sessions than would be possible with smartphone or tablet apps? You can also connect your trainer to your computer. This way, you can train using the Tacx Desktop App. In this case, regulating resistance and reading out your performance data is done by your computer instead of your tablet or smartphone. That means you can ride with longer videos, in HD or Blue-Ray quality, and your resistance will change depending on the simulated gradient.

Tacx Desktop App Premium Account

The Tacx Desktop App Premium allows you to enter the world of virtual cycling environments. This makes indoor training more exciting than ever. Cycle famous, classic trails, climbs and other unique routes from all over the world. Race against your friends or other contestants for a spot on the podium, cycle through the most gorgeous courses and receive live performance data (cadence, speed and power). Training inside is more realistic than ever before, thanks to the Tacx Desktop App Premium!

Virtual speed

To allow cyclists with motor brakes and electronic brakes to race each other through Multiplayer, Tacx developed virtual speed. This translates energy into speed, which guarantees an honest contest. If this speed deviates from the rear wheel’s speed, the virtual speed will be shown on screen in a red font. Ideal for Zwift contests and training in TrainerRoad or Kinomap.

What devices can I connect to?
The Tacx Turbo Trainers support Bluetooth Smart and ANT+. You can connect to all modern Android and iOS smartphones and tablets via Bluetooth, as well as laptops with Bluetooth support. Don't have a Bluetooth device available or do you prefer to connect using ANT+? Then you can opt for Tacx ANT+ dongle. You can connect this dongle to your computer or laptop via USB-A.

What do I need to get started with my new Tacx Flux S Smart?
First of all, you'll need a cassette to use the Tacx Flux S Smart. Make sure this casette has the same gears and gear ratio as your current cassette, so you can easily transfer your bike. An 11-28T and 11sp, for example. You can find this information on your cassette. You'll also need a cassette removal tool to install and uninstall cassettes: you can find these here. Do you have a bike that isn't a mountain bike, and does it have an 8, 9, 10, or 11-speed SRAM or 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12-speed Shimano cassette? Then your cassette is compatible with this turbo trainer.

Depending on your cassette, you might have to install spacers on your trainer's freehub body. If your bike has a 12-speed SRAM cassette, you'll have to install this SRAM XD/XD-R body first. If your bike has a 12-speed MTB Shimano cassette, you'll have to install this Micro-Spline Body first. If you have a bike with a 9-12 speed Campagnolo groupset, you'll have to install this Campagnolo body first.

What's the difference between the Elite Direto XR-T, Elite Avanti and the Tacx Flux 2 Smart?
The Elite Suito-T, Wahoo Kickr Core and Tacx Flux 2 Smart are all advanced turbo trainers. They provide enough versatility to complete structured training schedules, and to compete in online competitions using Zwift. The resistance levels provide plenty of challenges to enable a serious training routine.

Elite Direto XR-T
The Elite Suito-T is one of the most powerful turbo trainers. With its powerful electro brake and 5.1 kilogram flywheel, this trainer can realistically simulate every incline!

Can I use the Tacx Flux 2 Smart with Zwift or other training software?
Yes, you certainly can! The Tacx Flux 2 Smart can be paired with a laptop, tablet or smartphone via ANT+, ANT+ FE-C or Bluetooth Smart. This makes it easy to train using Zwift, Elite My E-Training or other third party apps. The built-in speed sensor, cadence sensor and power meter measure your performance and upload this data to your software.

Do I need adapters to make my bike compatible with the Elite Suito-T?
This trainer comes with adapters for 130 and 135 mm Quick Release skewers, as well as adapters for 12x142 mm and 12x148 mm thru axles. You use these together with your bike's thru axle.
