Closer to the bike trainer for less interference
The Antenna is connected to the computer via a long cable, which means the signal is transmitted clearly and without any loss of quality. Because of the cable’s length, the receiver can be positioned near the trainer to ensure the signal transmitted by the trainer is both found and received properly. This creates a much more stable connection compared to regular ANT+USB dongles that go directly into the USB port of your computer. The Tacx USB ANT+ Antenna T2028 is compatible with all ANT+ trainers (trainers that communicate via the wireless ANT+ technique) from Tacx, but also with those from other brands; such as CycleOps and Wahoo.
Note: This antenna is not suitable for use with the Tacx Desktop app because it only pairs using Bluetooth.
Details

• Ideal for use with PC software such as Zwift or TrainerRoad
• Includes installation software
• Note: check whether your trainer is compatible with the software you want to use (this is often mentioned on the site of the software program)

good reception
bought to replace my separate ant+ stick. much better reception and better experience with video versus counterforce of the tacx, especially noticeable on the somewhat steeper (8%+) slopes

So for me this antenna is completely useless, sorry!
For this ANT+ antenna to work, a driver is required which is no longer provided by The manufacturer.

Great device
Does not clearly state that it requires a win update with a driver entry that is not described.

Works fine with Zwift under Windows 11 along with Wahoo Kickr and Garmin HRM Pro
Bought this and not a Garmin or Wahoo ANT+ dongle because it has an antenna. Used on a Windows 11 laptop. Didn't want to risk unreliable signal. Especially me Garmin HRM connected moderately via Bluetooth on my Windows 11 laptop to Zwift. This is perfect. Both Kickr and HRM connected very quickly and stay connected. ANT+ is better than Bluetooth with multiple devices anyway due to the protocol. It may therefore be that a €20 ANT+ dongle will also do just fine. But then again, you only buy an ANT+ dongle once ;).
