Pros & Cons

Pros & Cons

  • Combines excellent performance in terms of grip, rolling resistance, durability and puncture resistance.
  • These tyres provide grip on both dry and wet roads, making them predictable tyres you can always rely on.
  • The SmartEVO compound strikes the perfect balance between rolling resistance and grip thanks to three different polymers.
  • This tyre is the result of 100 years of experience in car racing and cycling, including tests by cyclists in the world tour.
  • Folding tyres are easy to mount and a puncture can always be solved with a new inner tube.
  • The Pirelli P Zero Race isn't suitable for tubeless use.

Great advice for great tyre

- Jan 14 March 2026

Replaced the old 23mm tyres with 28mm wide ones feel much better. Got good advice that on my Trek Domane with rim brakes there would be enough room which was indeed the case. The bike looks much better again with the brown tyres.

Pros & Cons

Easy to assemble
Looks nice
Rides smoothly
relatively expensive

2 / 5

Good but could be a lot less tight

- Neal 28 January 2026

The outer tyre is just way too tight and almost impossible to install smoothly and then getting the inner tube in + that it is not pinched between the outer tyre is impossible

Pros & Cons

Won't go off your rims quickly
Inhumanly tight to mount
