Pros & Cons
Pros & Cons
- ABEC 5 bearings are equipped with military-grade grade 5 steel balls and are therefore excellent for use in precision applications.
- These bearings are treated with a high-quality Teflon lubricant (Rheolube 374A) to ensure that they run even smoother.
- Most ABEC 5 bearings are fitted with SRS seals, which can be disassembled for quick and easy maintenance. The low rolling resistance and good sealing against moisture and dirt are guaranteed.

Bullets are classified according to their grade. A grade 5 bullet means its spherical tolerance is 5/1,000,000 and as such extremely round. Another characteristic of a Grade 5 bullet is the surface finish of less than 0.005 microns which, in this case, involves very close tolerances. The lower the grade, the better the bullet quality.
ABEC
A standard value used to measure the tolerance of the surface of the roller bearings. There are five classes: 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9. The higher the ABEC class the greater the precision, efficiency and speed capability, but the highest ABEC classes are not necessarily the fastest rotating parts. All quality products around the world use at least ABEC 1 as standard. With Enduro the minimum standard is ABEC 3. The Enduro Bearings ABEC 5 bearings have standard ABEC 5.

I am very satisfied with the result
I replaced both bearings in my rear hub 6902 & 6802 with Enduro Bearings ABEC 5 and I am very satisfied with the result. The Wheel is revolving very freely and it will now be a matter of time to see how the Enduro Bearings ABEC 5 behaviour and last.

Specifications just a little better than standard
The specifications are promising and they run very smoothly, just have to wait and see how good the bearings actually are in the longer term. Note that these bearings have two different seals (LLU and LLB). The grey LLU seal should be fitted towards the outside, it is slightly thicker to keep out water and dirt.
