Pros & Cons

Pros & Cons

  • A versatile tubeless tyre. This is a fast, durable tyre with maximum grip in all conditions.
  • If you mount the Vittoria Corsa N.EXT tubeless tyre with latex sealant, you won't have to stop when it gets punctured on the road.
  • The right mix of Graphene and Silica combines strong durable characteristics while maintaining a supple tyre.
  • Features vertical grooves to keep good grip in bad weather conditions.
  • Equipped with a QR code that provides additional tips and user advice when scanned.
  • This Corsa N.EXT has a nylon carcass and is therefore not as supple as the Corsa with its cotton carcass. This is noticeable in the bends.

Description

Description

The Vittoria Corsa N.EXT G2 TLR road bike tyre is an allround tubeless tyre that scores high on rolling resistance, grip, puncture-resistance, durability and weight. This tubeless tyre is a lot more durable compared to the Vittoria Corsa G2 TLR Graphene 2.0 tyres, because it has a nylon carcass.

Partly thanks to the experiences of professional cyclists, this Vittoria Corsa N.EXT G2 TLR tyre has an even higher performance level. The nylon carcass also offers durability for cyclists who are looking for the best everyday performance and who can rely on a durable tyre.

Tubeless ready
The Vittoria Corsa N.EXT G2 TLR tyres are tubeless and can be fitted with liquid latex which prevents punctures immediately. The moment your tyre is punctured, the small grains in the latex sealant immediately accumulate under the puncture, which then seals it off. This usually happens within seconds, so you won't have to stop at the side of the road.
Size 28 mm and up are also compatible with hookless rims.

Silica & Graphene
Besides the very strong and durable Graphene material, Silica has now also been added to the tyre. This material reinforces the properties that make the tyre so supple, and improve grip and rolling resistance in all conditions. To improve puncture protection, the central tread of the tyre has 3 layers of nylon and an extra anti-puncture layer.

QR code
The Vittoria Corsa N.EXT G2 TLR is the first road bike tyre with a QR code printed on the sidewall. This code gives you easy access to useful technical information about the tyre. It also provides product information, technical specifications, user advice, similar products and much more.

Fine band.

- Dirk 17 March 2024

My vittoria corsas (cotton inlay) were due for replacement. The new corsa's (nylon insert) allowed themselves to be fitted on roval alpinist (21 mm) using 2 schwalbe tyre levers and some soapy water. This was at room temperature, outside in the cold this will probably be a lot harder. Inflating was done with a normal foot pump. Air tightness was very good even without sealant. An indication of when the tyres need replacing is included. In my case, the sizing is exactly as indicated 30 mm for a 30 mm tyre. What strikes me compared to my previous Corsa's is that fine pebbles do not settle in the longitudinal grooves.

4 / 5

To be seen in time, a little disappointed, probably because of the weight.

- Stéphane 26 December 2023

For the moment, 200 km is fine, but I don't feel any sense of security with it.

Fantastic tire, sticks wonderfully to the road

- Henk 14 February 2023

4 / 5

Good tire with average rolling resistance and good grip

- Yves 5 October 2022

First experiences with the tires are good. Rolling resistance OK and by not putting too much pressure on them they ride comfortably. Were not very easy to fit but with a little effort definitely doable. Inflated with a Schwalbe tire booster.

Pros & Cons

30mm tire
good grip
Medium rolling resistance
