Pros & Cons
Pros & Cons
- The Zwift Click & Cog allows you to install 8-12 speed bikes on direct drive bike trainers.
- Comes with Zwift Cog and Click remote control for virtual shifting.
- You can easily use your direct drive trainer with multiple bikes when you have a Click & Cog!
- Shifting gears with the Click takes some getting used to, and may be less intuitive than shifting using your shifters.
- Please note: update your direct drive turbo trainer's software before installing the Click & Cog!

Nice addition to gameplay
Not yet convinced of the added value. Buttons for gameplay options work super fine. But I don't yet see digital switching as an added value.

Purchase regret

Not compatible with Rouvy
Bought to be able to virtually shift in combination with Wahoo Kickr Core 2 and Rouvy, thus making the trainer compatible with multiple bikes and further reducing the noise level. First ride everything worked fine but then it didn't. Rouvy recognises the Zwift hardware but the Zwift Click module does not transmit the signals. Enquiries to Rouvy unfortunately confirm that the Zwift Click V2 is not (any longer) compatible. They are talking to Zwift but they are (of course) not cooperating on a solution (why should you help your main competitor, you might ask). Very unfortunate and it would be nice if the selling parties (such as Mantel) were better informed about this as well.

Super purchase!
Easy to install and it works super! I especially like the virtual switching.

Great solution
Installation was easy, if you can change a tyre (and have the right tools) it's a piece of cake. Unfortunately, I only found out during the first use that I also had to perform an update to the trainer (which was not entirely automatic). After this update, it runs like a breeze. Just find the right position of your derailleur and adjust the fine-tuning of the Zwift Cog, and it hardly makes any noise at all. Nice in a noisy flat though! Made me enjoy indoor training in winter again
