All-round road bike
The Trek Domane AL 5 is a road bike that you can use for multiple purposes. While it is suitable for fast laps on paved roads, it is also open to adventure on maintained gravel paths. This Domane AL is comfortable and sporty at the same time and is fitted with high-quality components.
The frame of the Domane AL 5 Disc is focused on comfort. The geometry allows for a relaxed position on the bike and the handling is also geared towards comfort. By flipping the stem downwards, you can change the bike's geometry completely and make is a lot more aggressive. The frame of the Domane AL 5 Disc also has mounting points on which you can attach a luggage carrier and other accessories. This makes the bike suitable as a fast commuter bike or for doing multi-day rides.
Beautiful equipment
The drivetrain found on this Trek Domane AL5 Disc is Shimano 105. In terms of quality, it is very good compared to the higher-end Ultegra groupset. With the 2x11 drivetrain, one can always find the right gear, even when there is a big climb coming up.
Decent wheels and components
The Bontrager Affinity wheels have been updated, making them even stronger and more comfortable. The rest of the parts like tyres, handlebars, saddle and seatpost are also Bontrager's.

Good quality, comfortable spec for long-distance ride. Best choice for a aluminium bike.
As mentioned in the summary, it is a very comfortable bike, suitable for long distance ride and (slight) gravel conditions. I have tried several bikes with similar specs, the domane is the most comfortable one. The only thing you need to consider is that for the same money you can buy a carbon bike with better brake/shifters.
